Good morning,
Just completed work on a guide for a client and one piece of feedback that came in was about the language for a benefit that is covered completely on a plan. When editing a benefit package, the drop down allows us to pick options such as “After Deductible”, “Copay”, “Copay Range”, “Coinsurance”, and so on. If a benefit is fully covered, the drop down listing is “100% Covered”. I’d like to recommend changing this to something like “Covered in Full”.
In this case, the group had a 100% coinsurance HSA plan, so the benefits listing included lines for 100% coinsurance, 100% covered, and 0% after deductible, which was confusing to some readers. Changing the 100% covered to something without a % in the name would probably clear that up.
Thanks!
