Brite for Printed Guides

We’ve heard the feedback loud and clear from so many of our great customers. Brite needs to be usable for both digital and printed guides. Because of your feedback, we have shifted priorities around a little bit and will focus on enabling you to build beautiful guides that will work regardless of the format you need to distribute them with.

We’ve broken down our planned work for this into the following phases:

1. Enable a PDF Preview within the editor - this means you won’t have to export your guide to see what the guide will look like in PDF format

2. PDF View you can edit - see auto-identified page breaks, view what components will look like, and how everything will be formatted when you export and make changes directly in that view

3. Auto-formatting for mobile, desktop, and PDF - this means you won’t have to create separate guides for desktop and PDF, the guide will autoformat to look great regardless of the format you choose to distribute with

4. Canvas-like view of all options - we want to give you the ability to see what mobile, desktop, and PDF will look like lined up next to each other, so you can quickly and easily verify formatting
